The Divison Street campus will be open for administrative purposes this summer from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in June and July. The building will only be open for financial aid, advising sessions, and admissions.
According to Esther Dyer, the dean of students, in previous years the campus was closed during the summer. Dean Dyer said the reason for the change is “to maintain continuous availability of student services and to provide an additional convenient and timely venue for hosting new student orientations.”
Due to the change, freshman and Tennessee Promise students will be able to attend a new student orientation at Division Street instead of having to travel to a different campus.
The building will be closed to the general public on July 9 and 12 for the UT Volunteer Bridge welcome events.
